Viewing Resource Usage of Your Reseller Customers

Explains how to view the resource usage (CPU, RAM, disk space, bandwidth) of your customers as a reseller in DirectAdmin.

As a reseller, it's important to know which customers use a lot of server resources, for example to suggest a larger package in time. In this article, we explain where to find this.

General resource usage (disk space and bandwidth)

  1. Log in to your reseller account via yourreseller.com:2222.
  2. Go to Reseller Level and click Account Manager.
  3. In the overview, you see each customer's disk space and bandwidth usage relative to their assigned package.

CPU, RAM, I/O, and other CloudLinux limits

  1. Go to Reseller Level → Extra Features → CloudLinux Manager.
  2. Open the Current Usage or Statistics tab.
  3. Here you see each customer's live usage of CPU, RAM, I/O, IOPS, EP, and NPROC relative to the configured limits.

Tip: Check this overview regularly for customers who report errors more often, it often directly shows which limit is exactly being hit.

Troubleshooting

  • Usage doesn't seem to match what the customer reports: the statistics are often a snapshot or an average over a period, a brief spike isn't always visible.
  • Customer is structurally high in usage: consider suggesting a larger package instead of repeatedly raising the limit.
