How do you use Cloudfare for your domain?

1. Domain Registration and NameServer Changes:

After purchasing a domain, start by updating the nameservers. Go to the customer portal, select your domain, and find the 'Nameservers' option in the left menu. Here, you can update the nameservers.

If you purchased your domain from another provider, you can usually find the nameserver settings in your domain management panel.

2. Cloudflare Account and Adding Your Domain:

Register at Cloudflare and add your domain. This is free, so choose the €0.00 option. Cloudflare will provide you with the necessary nameservers.

3. Nameserver Update:

Enter the nameservers provided by Cloudflare into the settings of your domain. After saving, it can take up to 48 hours for the changes to propagate globally, although it often happens faster.

4. Confirmation from Cloudflare:

Once the nameserver update is complete, you’ll receive a confirmation email from Cloudflare.

5. DNS Settings for Web Hosting:

If you have web hosting with us, log in to your hosting account and go to 'DNS Management'. Copy these settings into the DNS section of your Cloudflare account for your domain.

6. Verification:

If everything is set up correctly, the landing page of your website should now be visible.
